An elaborate Austro-Hungarian necklace of lapis lazuli and tiny seed pearls, set in silver with the tiny, precise details Austro-Hungarian jewels are so prized for. Two oval lapis cabochons are set in silver and linked to create a dangling pendant with lots of movement. The top gem is framed in a halo of tiny seed pearls and intricate floral wire work. The bottom gem sits in a simple silver bezel. Both pieces are fringed with delicate dangles. The decorative bale is original and has matching tiny wire flower details. It hangs from a modern sterling silver chain. This pendant dates from the 1860s.

Details..... The pendant is 2.5" long and 0.77" at its widest. The chain is 20" long, and is a modern replacement. In Very Good Antique Condition. All the dangles are present and complete, just tucked under in the picture. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
