This Art Deco bangle from the 1920s has faceted, square-cut stones channel-set in sterling silver with engraved edges. Open-back pale-emerald glass alternates with colorless crystals, which sparkle when the light shines through. The materials, construction and quality are consistent with bangles made by Wachenheimer Bros. This jewel is unsigned because the tongue portion of the clasp (where this company's bangles were marked 'DIAMONBAR STERLING') was missing when I bought it. The clasp has been expertly repaired by my jeweler and now fastens securely. A lovely Art Deco bracelet from my personal collection to wear alone or as part of a stack of bracelets.
